Internships for undergrad university students are offered to motivated individuals interested in the research fields pursued in this institute on a merit basis. The purpose of the internships is to equip a generation of students in science and technology with hands-on experience in projects with global impact concerning fundamental topics in energy and resource. In general, a successful candidate has to demonstrate:

• Reference letters with resounding accounts of the candidate’s ability and research potential.
• Evidence of ranking highly in his/her class
• Academic impact and contribution.
