Georg Forster Research Fellowship Programme for Postdoctoral Researchers

Alexander von Humboldt research fellowship for postdoctoral researchers is considered as one of the most prestigious research fellowships worldwide. The reputation attached to the award can be assessed by the fact that the worldwide network of Humboldtians include 50 Nobel Prize winners. Researchers from abroad, regardless of their discipline or nationality, are honoured for their outstanding research record, and are invited to conduct a research project of their own choice in Germany in close collaboration with fellow experts at a German research institution.
