About The Department:

The field of robotics and automation is a re-emerging trend on a global scale. Along the lines of this institute’s initiative, the department of Robotics and Industrial Automation has engaged itself in first class research and production with a concentration on automating production lines for renewable energy systems. The main activities of this group could broadly be categorized into the three following areas:

  • Automation of production & assembly lines

Design and development of automated and intelligent production lines for renewable energy systems including wind and solar energy, as well as energy storage systems, equipment domestication for energy, gas, oil, and upstream industries.

  • Monitoring and intelligent industrial networks

Research, development and integration of control and monitoring systems for industrial networks related to renewable energy.

  • Knowledge acquisition and technology development with a domestication approach utilizing maximum domestic potential and capability

Development and supervision of a reference data bank as an independent website, development and empowering scientific and professional collaboration with universities and tech-based businesses, drafting and preparing relevant conferences, dissemination, and organizing professional workshops and courses.
