The mission of electrical transportation department of the Sun-Air Research Institute is problem solving, future reviewing as well as research and develop in the electric vehicle industries. Presence of technical knowledge in the fields of mechanical and electrical engineering, including but not limited to the design and manufacturing of chargers, battery packs, composites, mechanical systems, etc., has provided us with great potentials to make progress in EV industry. The electric transportation department is in close contact with many related markets/companies such as Shahab Khodro, Astan Quds Razavi, etc. This department provides the atmosphere for all experts and academics in the field of electric transportation for working together in order to achieve desired goals. The future perspective of the electric transport department of the Sun-Air Research Institute can be considered as continuous promotion to reach the point of independence from Sun-Air Research Institute. At present, we have testing facilities of many components and subsystems of electric vehicles such as chargers, motors, battery packs (lithium and lead-acid), composite materials, power transmission, etc.
