With the public acceptance of solar technology at hand and the growing concern over climate change, the department of solar energy aims to utilize and promote the use of solar power and raise public awareness by close collaboration with academic partners as well as the business sector. Such partnership intends to strengthen the academic and industrial interaction with the outcome of investing in solar power solutions and making use of this inexhaustible, clean and substantial resource.

  • Performing essential analysis such as efficiency, longevity, reliability and electrical and optical characteristics of solar cells.
  • Training skilled man-power in the field of solar energy technologies and engaging motivated graduate students in practical projects as a long-term investment which would benefit the public and the environment.
